The Move Of God

God wants to move on earth, He wants to move in the lives of men, He wants to move in situations, doing things that are supernatural, freeing captives, saving the lost, healing all manner of diseases, and manifesting His creative miracles. God wants to do things that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, things that have not entered the imagination of man’s mind (1Corinthians 2:9). And the church is the conduit for the great move of God in these last days.

The move of God predicates the move or outpouring of the holy spirit.
Creation was made possible by the move of God. That was the first move of God recorded in the Bible. According to the account in Genesis, the condition of the earth was none and void, until the Spirit of God MOVED upon the waters. Creation was made possible by that move of God. Gen 1:2 “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God MOVED upon the face of the waters.”

Recreation is also made possible by the move of God according to Acts 2. In creation the Spirit moved upon the waters, in recreation the spirit moved upon men. When God poured out His spirit upon the disciples, there was a move, such that the word had never seen. The result was transformed hearts, changed lives, signs, and wonders and all kinds of miracles. This move of the spirit created the Church which is the body of Christ.
The first move created the World, the second move created the Church. Every move of God will create something.

The bible in 1 Corinthians 4:20 says that “the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power”. The gospel of Christ is not excellent oratory or eloquent speeches, and the church is not a theatre or an entertained centre where people come to celebrate good music and hang out. The Church of Jesus is a house of power. The outpouring of the Spirit of God upon the Church is not for fun but for power. In Acts 1:8 the Bible says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you…”

The Solid Rock Vision Statement is “To be a living visible demonstration of the kingdom of God” here on earth. We are an extension of God’s kingdom on earth, we are representatives and ambassadors of the kingdom of God.

In Matthew 10:7-8, Jesus said the kingdom of God has come because the sick are being healed, the dead are raised to life, the blind receive their sight, the deaf and mute are hearing and speaking, leprous are being cleansed. So when the kingdom of God comes there are visible demonstrations of God’s power in our midst. When the kingdom of God comes there is the move of God. (Luke 10:9)

Without the move of God the church is no different from a club, but where God moves we experience the supernatural and astound the world. (Acts 2:47)
Prayer points

  1. Let’s pray that there will be a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit in solid rock in 2022. The Holy Spirit did not come everywhere but on those who gathered in the upper room waiting and praying to God. ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2:1‬ “On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place.” ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
  2. Let’s pray that as God moves in our midst, we will step out in the street and display his power through the gospel. There will be a kingdom expansion like never before. ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:41‬ “Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.”‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
  3. Let’s pray that those who set foot in Solid Rock will encounter the God supernaturally.
1 Kings 8:28-29 “Nevertheless, listen to my prayer and my plea, O Lord my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is making to you today. May you watch over this Temple night and day, this place where you have said, ‘My name will be there.’ May you always hear the prayers I make toward this place.”
  4. Let’s pray for the manifestations of more signs, miracles, healings and wonders. ‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:18‬ ‭“They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
  5. Let’s pray for revival in solid rock. Let there be a renewed passion and hunger for the word of God and prayer, for street ministry and outreaches.
  6. Let us pray for those who need a supernatural touch from God, let the move of God start with them, for deliverance, healing, miracles…
