Food Bank

The Lord put it on the hearts of our volunteers that the church should reach out to our community in Inchicore and surrounding areas to show the love of Christ in practical ways. So, the purpose of the Food Bank is to do just that.

The Bible says in James 2:14-17, “What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes or daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by actions, is dead.”

So the purpose of the Food Bank is to support anyone who needs support, love, and care. This for us is a demonstration of faith through action, by serving the people of our community in the love of Jesus, Who faithfully supplies all our needs through His riches in glory.

The Food Bank at Sold Rock Centre will be open from 12pm to 2pm every Wednesday where you can freely receive what you need. Also, if you are in need of prayer, be it for you or your family’s healing or any other physical or spiritual need, members of our prayer team can pray with you in our prayer rooms.
