“My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.”
“and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”
Exodus 15:6 NKJV
God’s Word reveals that His life and power dwell within every believer. Healing is not distant, delayed, or reserved for a future moment. It is part of the redemptive work of Christ and is already available to us. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, carrying resurrection power that overcomes sickness, weakness, and every form of decay.
Romans 8:11 (NKJV) tells us –”But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you”.
Healing begins “in you”, that is in your spirit. While symptoms may manifest in the body, the Word of God inside your spirit is energised by the Holy Ghost (“..the spirit of Him who raised Christ from the dead..”) and produces healing.
God’s Word is alive, powerful, and effective. When it is believed, received, and spoken, it releases the healing Christ has already provided. Healing flows from the inside out as divine life (Zoe) and energises every part of our being.
Scripture makes it clear that healing is not merely a promise—it is an accomplished work. The Bible tells us that by the stripes of Jesus, we were healed. This places healing in the finished work of the cross.
“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”
1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV)
Faith simply receives what God has already done and allows that reality to flow into every area of life. As we consistently feed our spirits with God’s Word, faith is strengthened, fear is displaced, and divine health is manifested. Hallelujah!
Prayer Points
1. Father, I thank you for the finished work of the cross and the healing it provides. I thank You for Your healing power that lives within me. I receive Your Word as truth and life. I declare that Your life is working in my body now, bringing strength and wholeness (1 Peter 2:24).
2. Declare according to Psalm 107:20 NKJV “He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.”
Lord thank you for sending Your Son who by reason of His death, burial and resurrection, bore my sins, sicknesses and infirmities and nailed them to the cross, I acknowledge the health and prosperity you desire for me and walk in this reality all the days of my life in Jesus name.
3. Speak to every symptom and command it to leave, believing you receive healing now according to Mark 11:23–24 NKJV “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
4. Declare that you are aligned with the word of God over your life and reject every word contrary to what God has declared over you according to Proverbs
5. Declare that you are healed, free, whole and walk in the experiential reality of God’s redemptive power in your life.
6. Pray for grace to walk daily in divine health (Romans 8:11).
